India is attracting a growing number of international musicians and bands as a popular destination, as evidenced by the year-end music festivals in 2024. With artists from various genres performing in India, there is something for everyone this year! The Ziro Festival of Music, taking place in Ziro Valley, Arunachal Pradesh from September 26-29, is entering its 11th edition showcasing the music and culture of Northeast India. The festival features emerging talent, rock contests, traditional Naga dances, and performances honoring tribal folklore. Visitors can reach the festival by air via Dimapur airport (65 km from Kohima) or by train via Dimapur railway station (70 km from Kohima). Another festival, Magnetic Fields, will be held at Alsisar Mahal in Rajasthan from December 6-8. Although the lineup for the 10th edition has yet to be announced, attendees can expect a cultural experience filled with art. This year's theme is 'Unified Field', providing a unique experience in the village of Alsisar, Rajasthan. Travelers can reach the festival by air through Delhi or Jaipur airports, with Delhi being 239 km and Jaipur being 217 km from Alsisar Mahal, or by train via Sadulpur Junction station (53 km from Alsisar Mahal).
